DC Studios has dropped their final trailer for their Lanterns series on HBO Max, releasing on 16 August.

Besides from Ryan Reynolds and Nathan Fillion, I have limited exposure to the Green Lantern lore. With that in mind, this looks fantastic. It's taken me from a mindset of "sure, I'll watch it" to "I cannot wait to watch this!" Keen as!

The Brat Prince will return!

An announcement from AMC Global Media at for season 4 of . As expected, they will be adapting book 3 of Anne Rice 's series Queen of the Damned.

I've really enjoyed all the the series so far, so I'll be watching it day one of its release. No date has been announced.

10 years ago I was lucky enough to go to the Hacksaw Ridge premiere at the State Theatre in Sydney.

It was with great surprise and delight that I got to see in person and listen to Sam Neill introduce Mel Gibson to the stage.

It was only for a few minutes and I was at the back, but it is certainly a favourite memory of mine being in the same room as this legendary, down to earth, icon.

Obviously, my favourite role he played was Alan Grant but he elevated everything he was in, even silly roles such as Thor Ragnarok.

Raise a glass of Pinot Noir for the man, and his legacy of wonderful memories and films. RIP.

Disappointingly flat.

I have been excited for Supergirl since the post credit scene in Supetman. A badass, edgy, emotionally broken, drunk Supergirl. I was on board.

The thing is, she is that, and generally I enjoy the story of Kara's journey as she deals with her trauma. It's just not told in an exciting or engaging way. It just happens.

The CGI, practical effects, music and acting are all really good. Its just flat.

Overall, I'd give it a thumbs up 👍, but it could have been so much better.
