🐑 FEEDLOT FEED MILL OPERATOR (a.k.a. Sheep Buffet Manager Extraordinaire) 🐑
Location: Somewhere between dust, determination, and a lot of sheep
Position Type: Full-time Casual (the sheep don’t do weekends off)
🌾 About the Role
We’re on the hunt for a Feed Mill Managing Operator — someone who can keep the feed flowing, the machinery humming, and the sheep blissfully unaware they’re living better than most humans.
You’ll be the mastermind behind the daily menu for hundreds (or thousands) of woolly clients who have very strong opinions about dinner time.
🐏 What You’ll Be Doing
Running the feed mill like a well-oiled (occasionally dusty) machine
Mixing rations with the precision of a chef and the speed of a Friday night rush
Keeping an eye on equipment so it doesn’t decide to retire mid-shift
Coordinating feed schedules (because sheep WILL complain to management… loudly)
Troubleshooting issues before they become “well, that’s not ideal” moments
🧠 What We’re Looking For
Experience with feed mills, machinery, or anything that makes loud noises and occasionally breaks
Ability to problem-solve under pressure (and under sheep-related judgment)
Strong work ethic and a good sense of humor — you’ll need both
Comfort working outdoors in conditions ranging from “not bad” to “why did I choose this career?”
Bonus points if you can out-stare a sheep
