Still taking this one in — Thalabah has been awarded the Stonehaven Cup at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, for the best group of five March shorn Merinos 🐑

This is something we continually strive for, which makes this win all the more special.

The Cup carries deep meaning for our family. It reflects the years of dedication and quiet determination of dad, John Williams, who worked tirelessly to shape the Thalabah type.

Proud to carry that forward. 🐑

Thank you Taralga Agricultural, Pastoral & Horticultural Show for another fantastic event. Always a pleasure to be involved with this event, they do everything with the community, youth and agriculture front of mind. It was exciting for us to be able to show the Supreme Merino Exhibit for 2026 and join forces with the next generation of Lach River Merino Stud to win the Young Farmers competition
