This little chicken is hanging up her boots. Golden Googies is closing down this week! Thank you so much to everyone who has supported my little egg business over the past 3 years. I’ve loved supplying you with fresh eggs every week. It’s been a lot of fun, but it’s time for my next adventure to begin. Really looking forward to a much needed break! Lots of holidays & free weekends!! It’s time to prioritise my health. Living with an autoimmune disease and the labour intensive nature of pastured egg farming 7 days a week can’t continue forever unfortunately. Whilst this is incredibly disappointing to a lot of people I need to put my health first. I love this job so much but it’s time for a few changes in my life. I also have a lot of travel plans and I really can’t take the chooks with me on holidays 😂 We will still be keeping some hens, I simply can’t live without chook company!! Our beautiful guardian dogs Jax & Neve will still have a job to do with the exception of Luna who is happily retiring to live a life of luxury (truthfully she much prefers my company than that of chickens 😂). We will continue to have a roadside stall when the girls are laying.
Never say never…maybe one day Golden Googies will be back 🥰 but for now I’m really excited to get back to a slower pace of life.

Much love,
Miranda xx
