A big part of the Lal Lal Kitchen is making contributions to charities.
Usually it's financial but last year I found out that Variety supplies wigs to children who need them.
I wear hair nets most days because I'm cooking so I'd rather short hair but I have fast growing, thick hair, so I decided to grow mine a bit more & donate it.
Today, my beautiful sister, who has the most **incredible** hair chopped it off and is sending 35cm of it to me so I can forward to Variety.
When I told her how humbled I am by her, this was her response;
"Yeah :) well what's the point of sweeping those lovely locks into a bin when it could bring happiness, confidence and hope to a persons life. I wouldn't have thought of the idea without but I'm glad you said it because it feels awesome xx"
