I said goodbye to this awesome soul today.
Not often do you get a chance to have a dog that would turn cart wheels for you if you asked him to. Hilariously funny, kind, hugely loving, completely forgiving and always ready.
I thanked him for not chasing that footy at the Buangor farm trial as we got to the yards, we would never have lived that down. I thanked him for all the times he got us out of a sticky situation. And I thanked him for all that he taught me. He helped me learn a simpler way. To not complicate the situation. I thanked him for it all.

I hope the balls are bouncy and the sheep not sticky wherever you are my friend.

🌧 Rain, eggs, and farm life at Valooka! 🌱

July brought us some beautiful soaking rain – the paddocks are looking fresh! We’ve finished home deliveries, but eggs are still available for farm pick‑up (text 0427008017).

🐓 POL pullets (23 weeks old) – $25 each. Keep eating Valooka eggs straight from your own backyard!
🐖 Pork sides available end of Sept – ~35kg at $15/kg dressed weight.
🐐 Goats are due to kid in September (cue the chaos 🐐💨).
