Today is Thank a First Responder Day. ❤️

Many of you may not know that Farmer Glen is also a helicopter pilot. Following the floods we experienced 12 months ago, Glen has returned to one of his lifelong passions—flying.

When he’s away from the farm, you’ll often find him in the skies with Kestrel Aviation , supporting firefighting operations across Victoria, New South Wales and ACT during the bushfire season.

Today, we’d like to acknowledge not only Glen, but all the incredible first responders who dedicate their time, skills and courage to helping others in times of need. Whether it’s fighting fires, responding to floods, providing medical care, policing our communities, or volunteering in emergencies, your commitment does not go unnoticed.

Thank you for all that you do to keep our communities safe. We are incredibly grateful. 🚁🚒🚑🚓

🌻Thank you to every visitor, supporter, staff member and family member who has helped make Hunter Valley Sunflowers what it is today.

This season alone we donated $18,558.25 to the Cancer Council through Patch donations and our Biggest Morning Tea.

Since we started donating in 2021, together we have now raised an incredible $71,998.10 for the Cancer Council.

We were also proud to donate $1,560.80 to Legacy from our 2026 ANZAC Day event.

Thank you for supporting our farm and helping us give back to causes that mean so much to so many.

* You are on a farm, there is a possibilty of snakes 🐍 .
* No drones.
