Even though we're away from the farm for a little while longer, Christmas Puddings are still front and centre!

This week brought some exciting news, with our puddings receiving recognition in two prestigious national competitions.

🥇 1st Place – Great Vanilla Slice Triumph, Merbein
Registered Kitchen Plum Pudding Category – a fantastic national award we're incredibly proud of.

🥉 2nd Place – Sydney Fine Food Show
In a very tough field, both ourselves and the overall winner were awarded Bronze Medals, making it an honour to stand alongside Australia's best.

And while we're enjoying our little break, pre-orders for this year's puddings are already open! 🎄❤️

🇦🇺 Is there anything more Aussie than stopping for a ‘Captain Cook’ at The Dog on the Tucker Box at Gundagai? 😂

I think not!

Honouring our pioneers and their noble companions — and taking a little time to appreciate the history and character of this great country we call home. ❤️💚💛

Some of you may be aware that we’ve taken a few weeks away from the farm this year to attend some unexpected medical appointments and to head over to Wollongong for some work on the van.

But don’t panic! 😉
The puddings are still happening!

Well... our annual break hasn't quite gone to plan. 😬

A few unexpected and urgent medical appointments have interrupted our travels this year... grrr! But what do you do? Complain? Absolutely not!

Instead, we've stayed local and spent our time exploring the incredible Flinders Ranges and our own beautiful backyard. Along the way we've made a point of supporting as many small, family-owned businesses as we can—just like we always encourage you to do for us.

Every coffee, meal, loaf of bread, tank of fuel, gift or night's stay makes a real difference to small businesses, especially in our regional communities.

Last year our puddings sold out incredibly quickly, so don't leave it until the last minute. We can only produce a limited amount and once they're gone, they're gone!

Like so many small Australian businesses, we've faced rising costs across ingredients, packaging and freight. We've done everything we can to keep our price increases to an absolute minimum while continuing to handcraft every pudding using the finest Australian ingredients and our fifth-generation family recipe.
