Laura Hills Farm Laura Hills Farm - produces quality lamb, goat, beef and crops. At times some of our produce can be We're farmers sharing what we do with the world.

Our farm is diverse and variable paddock to paddock and season to season. We're working to improve the soil, water and biodiversity while being a productive and profitable farm. We're mainly Sheep and Goat farmers but we also grow crops and beef cattle. We are looking to market our goats via a local butcher. Please follow us and feel free to ask questions.

Want cheap goats?

I know a station mustering goats this week and the small goats need a home or to be put down. I bought 85 from them in Feb and they have grown well but I don't need more now.

The ones I bought are nearly heavy enough to join just 2.5 months later and we aim to have F1 kids born to the does in oct/nov.

The buck kids were still small enough to castrate and a growing well as bucks.

We identified a few potential bucks for the future. These 2 are about 10-12 weeks old, twins, with just 2 teats and a mum in great condition and a strong bond to her kids.

We're looking for fertility, mothering instincts, growth and muscle, correct teats and wide horns (minimises serious injury when the bucks grab legs between their horns during fights).

Boudica is doing a super job and we have had zero fox or eagle attacks dispite their being plenty of both nearby.
