We craft premium Clare Valley wines from exceptional vineyard fruit, but when it comes to enjoying them, we keep things fun & don't take ourselves too seriously! Claymore Wines, situated in the beautiful Clare Valley in South Australia, began making wine in 1997 with small volumes of Grenache and Riesling, and has now grown into a significant boutique brand producing a highly awarded range of over 15 different wines. Our labelling is inspired by some of the great music of modern time - from rock, punk and folk. Our wines are about bringing together great passions to create the ultimate experience. We pride ourselves on meticulous winemaking using only the best fruit, but when it comes to enjoying a glass we don't take ourselves too seriously! So turn up the volume on the playlist of your choice, crack a bottle with friends, and relax. The Claymore Wines team share a passion for the fun side of wine and enjoy guiding visitors to our Cellar Door through the Claymore Wines' experience - open Monday to Saturday from 11am–5pm and 11am-4pm on Sundays and Public Holidays.

NEW RELEASE 2026 JOSHUA TREE RIESLING

Orange blossom, grapefruit pith and mandarin peel leap from the glass, layered with lime zest and freshly squeezed lemon. There’s a striking freshness to the aromatics, while cool limestone minerality brings a sense of place and keeps everything beautifully poised. 🎸 NEW RELEASE: 2024 LONDON CALLING CABERNET MALBEC 🎸

All class, with a touch of punk rock defiance. 🍷

A punch of blackberry, menthol and rose petal on the nose, followed by fierce rhubarb, toffee apple and to***co. Dark fruit, savoury spice and subtle oak build layers of complexity and depth.

The palate comes charging in with blackcurrant and blackberry confectionery, layered with to***co, cedar and subtle herbal notes. Medium-bodied, plush and velvety, with a touch of rose water, fine chalky tannins and bright acidity.

The finish? Long, lingering and refusing to fade. 🎵

Adam brings a deep connection to the Clare Valley in his role at Claymore W**es, where he leads production and works closely with growers and company vineyards across the region. His w**emaking is shaped by a genuine affection for Clare’s vineyards and the clarity of fruit they produce, particularly in Riesling—a variety he values for its precision, purity and ability to express place with absolute honesty.

🍷 Favourite Claymore W**e: "Urban Hymns Riesling - all about elegance, finesse, and summer drinking." This w**e seems to be a favourite from all the staff!

⚽ Favourite Liverpool Player:
