We are taking a break from deliveries this week, but as always, you can still get your hands on our fruit. Our self-serve shed door stays open 7 days, rain or shine. Come for a drive through the hills; it’s the perfect time of year to visit.

P.s Our cherries are starting to look like cherries. How exciting 🤭

🌸 Next Stages: What happens after our Cherries Bloom

Mid-spring is an exciting and somewhat anxious time for cherry growers. Once our bloom begins to fade, we get a pretty good gauge of what the season ahead will look like. Petals fall, and fruit begins to set post-pollination. This is where we watch and wait to see what our crop load will look like as tiny cherries begin to form. There’s still a long way to go, but for now, we’re keeping our fingers crossed that our bees and our team have done a good job. 🐝🤞🍒

Our Apple Blossom is Here 🌸 ✨

Our apple blossom comes along second to our cherry blossom, but is just as exciting for us to witness as all of our orchards turn white. Each flower holds the potential to become an apple. But not without a little help from our bees. Once pollinated, the flower will slowly start to become a piece of fruit. The petals fall away, and the stem slowly swells. Then we begin the process of thinning these baby apples so our tree branches don't end up too heavy come harvest. Spring is where it all begins, and we love to watch nature put on this show each year.
