The Deer Farm

The Deer Farm A commercial Deer farm established in 1980 The deer farm is a commercial farm established in 1980 and has herds of Red, Fallow, Hog and Sika deer.

The Red deer herd (Cervus elephus) is based on Warnham and Woburn genetics with most deer being able to trace their lineage back to our foundation stag Green 123, an imported stag of Warnham heritage who is Ramses son from the Stamfield Park stud of Clive Jermy in New Zealand. Much of the foundation stock was imported from New Zealand. Green 123 was a stag whose growth rate, antler size and confor

mation proved to be highly heritable. His sons and grandsons form the basis of our velvet herd, and his size and antler characteristics gives our herd superior performance. The Fallow deer (Dama dama) have been bred for performance with imported genetics from the best fallow herds in Europe including Gyulaj Park in Hungary. Our Sika deer (Cervus Nippon) is of the sub species Cervus Nippon Dybowski, which is the largest of the Sika. Our stock has great potential for antler very well suited to the Asian market and future trophy opportunities. Please contact us for information about Venison, Velvet and TCM products or livestock and trophy opportunities .

Classic looking rutty fallow bucks, still going hard at the end of their peak week. Should slow down dramatically by the end of next week, as most does will be joined.

Two Sika drop tine stags, one natural, one by velvet damage.
One fully rutty, one not interested! ( yet)
