🐔 Super Crispy Chicken without batter and without cornstarch, just chicken! Steaming first is the trick.
5 for $10.- This Sunday at Kalamunda Farmers Market.
Seasoned with a fragrant salt after deep-frying in the wok and served with my original honey and infused balsamic creation dating back 20 years and reinvented to make that chicken even more scrumptious.
🐷 And of course the Twice Cooked Pork is also on the menu, it already has a little fan club 😋

Most elaborate chicken I have ever cooked: Poulet Basquaise.
Split chicken thighs in heavenly things such as Sherry, fresh thyme sprigs.....
No wonder the world's best restaurant is in Basque country (I lived 150 km from the pays basque in France for years and never cooked this)

New CHICKEN oven recipe. Awesomeness coming from my desperate attempt to put food on the table with leftovers. No time, just ideas and leftovers.
Chicken thighs, fried mixed mushrooms from Swan valley gourmet fungi and NP, shaved sweet potatoes, raw cauliflower, cooked brown rice from Aldi. Olive oil, butter, top notch salt and ground pepper medley, Herbes de Provence.
Yep, a bit oily. Didn't have enough brown cooked rice. It really is a throw together meal with minimum time and effort but boy, does it taste good !🤌
( I did have fried minced mushrooms though, an effort worth your while! Freeze it. )

Honestly, this Kalamunda Farmers Market community we have is beautiful. Patrons and stallholders alike.
I really struggled today on my first day of a new cooking thing and stallholders and customers were so unbelievably gracious.
I even sent John "The Patriarch of the Market" to IGA to buy more stuff because I miscalculated.
"That's the spirit! " 😀
