For those of you that don't know, Helen's Hill has a resident quality-control expert, and her name is Cookie.

First order of business: breakfast — inhaled, not eaten. Then it's out to the vines to "help" Allan with the morning rounds (mostly this means walking a few steps ahead and pretending she knows the way). A bit of sun on The Patio while the cellar door opens up, a well-earned nap in her favourite spot, and by afternoon she's back on duty greeting anyone who'll give her a pat.

Not a bad life, Cookie. Not a bad life at all. 🍇

EXCITING THINGS ARE HAPPENING AT THE HILL 😍

We’re in the final stages of some massive upgrades to our kitchen and back of house areas. Which means until 25 July we’re keeping it simple and focussing on what got us started in the first place, our w**e tastings.

We’re pinching ourselves a bit about these upgrades. It’s thanks to you, our incredible guests, that we’re able to grow in this way. In return, we’re promising you a fresh new menu, designed with intention to pair beautifully with our w**es (what it’s really all about for us!).

This is an exciting chapter for us and one we can’t wait to share with you.

For the next couple of weeks we’re open Friday, Saturday and Sundays, offering w**e tastings on Fridays and w**e tastings and cold platters on weekends.

From the 25th, well… just you wait and see!
