A rare day together with no work and time all to ourselves, we headed out to see our mates Common People Brewing Co for a couple of beers and pizza. Thanks to the team who as always take care of us and share some smiles. One of favourite places to hang out in our corner of the universe.
Haven’t visited or sampled their beers yet? Why the bloody hell not???

The Grifter Brewing Co. Old Panther Black lager is an easy drinking dark beer that drinks surprisingly dry and crisp as a result of a deft touch with roast and chocolate malt. Black Lagers or Schwarzbier defy preconceived ideas that all dark beers are heavy or chewy.
Do yourself a favour and give this one a go.

When we heard that our favourite curator of fine beverages, Bec from was closing the doors shortly we were pretty devo’d - what a loss, and how incredibly lucky were we to have such an epic store in town for these past years. We thought that a little celebration/commiseration would be fun so we’re going to pop down there tomorrow arvo from 5pm with our guitars and percussion to play some acoustic tunes.
