Schitzelfest Lithgow is a new and exciting festival for Lithgow, sure to attract dozens of people to the area, and create a tourism boom in our economy. It can be hard to find a schnitzel in Sydney, so come to Lithgow and enjoy one here. You can eat schnitzels of all types - chicken, chicken with gravy, chicken with pepper sauce, chicken with mushroom sauce, and even Italian style chicken parmigia

na (Lithgow is proud of our multicultural cuisine)! All schnitzels will be served with either chips and salad, or mash and veg. Sauce is provided on the side, so you can add to your schnitzel, or just put it on your chips - the combinations are endless! Despite the rumours, we are still going full steam ahead in February, thanks to the Council's generous support!
We are the Schnitzel capital and you can walk into any of the great pubs in Lithgow from The Tattersalls to the 7 Valleys to the Courthouse and get a great Parma.

HALLOWEEN NEWS UPDATE!
Due to the missing funds from last year's Halloween Festival, this year's Halloween festival will be scaled back and will be much smaller in size. Plans are currently underway to ONLY run Halloween from Eskbank St to Bridge St.
BUT THERE'S SOME GOOD NEWS! -Lithgow Schnitzelfest will not be affected thanks to a $350,000 taxpayer grant from NSW Labor to the ALP mayor Cass Coleman so the whole street can be closed!
We will have details about our Schnitzles for the Homeless plan soon, thanks for all your enquiries!
