Golding Wines is a family owned vineyard, cellar door, & garden situated in the Adelaide Hills.

At our Western Branch Vineyard you can leave the bitumen behind you and wind up the driveway, past ancient gums to find a lush garden and landscaped terraces surrounding our family built sandstone barn. Over the years the Barn has experienced life as the farm shed, the vineyard workshop, the family home and the location for many a family celebration. Now home to our Tasting Room, our Ginkgo Restau

rant and the location for many events and weddings, it remains at the very heart of all that we do here at Golding Wines. We welcome visitors to our place seven days a week, offering wine flights, platters and cheese boards daily through our Tasting Room, and a lunch menu from Friday to Sunday through our Ginkgo Restaurant. Our Head Chef, De Buys Nortier, has crafted our Ginkgo menu to embrace the season’s finest produce, with a strong focus on locally sourced ingredients, some straight from our own kitchen garden. Whether you are visiting us for a wine tasting, a delicious Sunday lunch or an immersive vineyard experience we welcome you to experience the very best of the Adelaide Hills at our place.

Some wines carry more than what’s in the bottle. 🥂

Meet Marjorie - my grandmother, an army nurse, and the woman who married her sweetheart with 24 hours’ notice, a ring made from a crashed bomber, and confetti made by her patients. Her wedding day, in the middle of WWII, was a moment of pure joy in the darkest of times.

We think she’s the perfect family member to grace our most celebrated sparkling wine, made in her spirit of celebration, spontaneity and making the most of every occasion.

Introducing the 2022 Marjorie Blanc de Blancs - our first new release since the 2019 Cudlee Creek bushfires destroyed our vineyards. After years of patient work, she’s finally back. 🍾
