Another productive weekend working on regenerating our riparian space.
Around 100 plants found their way into the perfectly moistened soil. A mix of local native trees, shrubs and erosion control.
Some of the trees were gifted by Hunter Local Land Services at the recent Tocal Field Days. Some provided by Maitland City Council under a landholder tree planting program and the rest purchased by us. Can’t wait to see them grow and provide habitat in the future.

What an amazing few days at The Bee Pollination stand at TOCAL field days. 🐝🐝
So busy I forgot to take any extra photos!!!

An exciting opportunity for some of our new beekeepers to sell their amazing products and test their skills in a commercial arena.
With a variety of honeys from across the hunter, honey products, beeswax products and an educational component, the stand was met with great enthusiasm by the public.

Thank you to Amorelle and Helen and all the admin team the “behind the scenes” work in arranging our spot at Tocal and for always showing so much support for this wonderful project. ❤️

A huge thank you to Libby downes for helping set up and organise the stall over the last few weeks and giving your time to the stand over the weekend ❤️

Also thank you to our other volunteers, Margret, Adriana, Craig, Aidan, Frank, Jenny, Mick, Terry and Marg who gave up their time to help out on the stall and support our beekeepers. ❤️

Get those bees buzzing and start prepping for next year guys! Cant wait to see what amazing products you all develop in the next year. 🐝

We are very excited to have our pollinator project on show at the Paddock to Patio area at the field days this weekend. We have honey tasting and lots of raw honey for sale as well as bees wax products 🐝

He seems to have made our farm his home. This beautiful buck usually does the rounds of all the neighbours but lately our grass is the best!
