Some recent arrivals! We work with some other local farmers so that when we need to bring more cattle in, we know they come from grass-fed farms like ours. All from the Hunter.

This is where our beef starts. Just down the road in Lochinvar.

Open paddocks, fresh grass, healthy cattle and a whole lot of care before it ever reaches the butcher block.

Our grass-fed and grass-finished yearling beef is raised on pasture from start to finish, giving you a more natural, full-flavoured cut of meat for the family table. We work with other boutique farms right here in the Maitland and Cessnock LGAs to keep our paddocks full and bring you local beef, raised by local families.

If you haven't met us yet, we're River Bend Meats, a Lochinvar grass-fed, grass-finished beef farm. Hi! Sometimes it's hard to share behind the scenes info with you, because our process is simple. This is what our cows eat. Thats about the long and short of it!

We're proud of being able to bring seriously great tasting beef to our local communities around Maitland and Cessnock LGAs. No pesticides, no hormones, and plenty of space for our livestock to roam.

Ok we're very biased about our Lochinvar beef, but we also offer plenty of lamb, chicken and pork thanks to our talented butcher! Here's a lovely review that just came in for our Irish Pork Sausages. The chef's kiss is all you need to know.

By far our best selling product in September was our premium thin beef sausages! Lean and packed full of flavour, they are really worth a try if you haven't yet given them a go.

Our chooks have a great view on the farm! Our kids love life on the farm with them, out feeding them every day after school with scraps of veggies and fruit and picking their eggs.

So whilst it’s mainly moos you hear out here, our rooster loves to compete for ‘loudest on farm’ every now and then 😂
