Another Wodonga week wrapped up, and we leave with a great deal of gratitude.
To the buyers and underbidders of our team, thank you for your confidence and support. We were incredibly proud to see the team recognised with Reserve Intermediate and Reserve Senior Champion honours on show day, before being awarded Most Successful Exhibitor.
At Thursday’s National Sale, we achieved a full clearance of our ten bulls, selling to a top of $18,000. It was also a special moment to see Taylah’s bull, Norwood National, sell for $16,000, continuing a breeding philosophy that has shaped our family for generations. Mawarra B also sold their three bulls to a top of $10,000.
Beyond the results in the ring and sale barn, the week once again highlighted the strength of the Hereford community. The atmosphere throughout the event was outstanding and the opportunity to catch up with fellow breeders, share stories and enjoy each other’s company is something we value enormously.
Weeks like this are always a team effort. Huge thanks to Daniel, Sam, Nina and Layne for the long hours and tireless work behind the scenes throughout the week.
A special mention as well to Ben Davies and the Vendors Committee for the enormous amount of work involved in delivering an event of this scale. The week was a credit to everyone involved.
Most importantly, we appreciated the conversations, catch-ups and support throughout the week. Events like Wodonga are about far more than ribbons or sale results. They’re an opportunity to connect with good people, share ideas, and continue learning alongside an industry we care deeply about.
