It's the perfect time of year to see the incredible contrast between the different varieties of blueberries we have on the farm. Whilst some berries are well on their way to development, other bushes are still on just breaking out in blossom! These varieties grow so well together and allow us to extend our season from December all the way through to April!

Some of the blueberry plants we grow are:

🫐 Denise: Sweet/tangy, juicy, distinctive
🫐 Bluecrop: Classic blueberry flavour!
🫐 Brigitta: Sweet with a mild tart edge
🫐 Brightwell: Firm, mildly sweet
🫐 Tifblue: Mild and pleasantly sweet

Whilst lots of the plants are still wintering, huge swathes of the orchard are now bursting into life!

Springtime is glorious on the farm: sunshine... rain, everything green and blossoming, bees buzzing everywhere.

With only a few months until we are in season again it's the perfect time to launch our new website:

As well as a source of information it will also be a platform for ordering blueberries from December onwards.
