Well… it’s official ❤️
After more than 20 incredible years, we’ve made the very difficult decision to put The Country Bakehouse on the market.
There’s a lot of emotion that comes with writing those words.
For more than two decades, this bakery has been such a huge part of our lives. We’ve watched it grow, and shared countless early mornings, long days, celebrations, challenges and laughs along the way. We’ve met so many wonderful people, made lifelong friendships and had the privilege of becoming part of the fabric of the Loxton and Riverland community.
We love our bakery.
We love Loxton.
And we absolutely love the people who have supported us along the way.
So, this decision hasn’t been an easy one.
But sometimes in life, you must listen to your heart and recognise when it’s time for a new chapter. And there’s one thing we love more than our bakery – our family.
We feel the time is right to step aside and hand the baton to the next custodians of The Country Bakehouse. Someone with fresh ideas, new energy and the passion to take this very special business into its next chapter.
With 40 years of baking history, an incredible team behind you, loyal customers and a business that has become such a loved part of the Riverland, the foundations are firmly in place. There is still so much potential for someone to come in, make it their own and create their own memories here.
We’re incredibly proud of what The Country Bakehouse has become, but more than anything, we’re grateful.
Grateful for every customer who has walked through our doors.
Grateful for every staff member who has stood beside us.
Grateful for the friendships we’ve made and the stories we’ll take with us.
And grateful to have had the privilege of serving the Riverland for the past 21½ years.
While it’s a little sad to say that this chapter of our lives is coming to an end, we’re also excited to see what the future holds – for our family, for us, and for The Country Bakehouse.
