In the early years we entered a few Sausage King Awards and won some awards for our Italian, Continental, Pork and Traditional Australian (BBQ) Sausage.

Our highest honours were 2nd in the State for our Pork sausage and 1st in SA for our Traditional Australian sausage. This took us to the Gold Coast for the National awards
where we were thrilled to place 2nd.

Our customers love our BBQ snag - we weren’t about to mess with a winning recipe to try and snag first place!
We were satisfied with that 😀

Family 💕

As any small business owner would know, running a small business is a family affair.

Our girls can’t remember a time where we haven’t had the butcher shop and both have been brought into help during the crazy week leading up to Christmas.

Thanks to all the family & friends who have helped us out over the past 25 years 💕

Here is a little trip down memory lane of some of the staff who have worked for us over the past 25 years.
25 years ago began with a partnership with Nige & Toni Rollbusch with employees Matt Ritchie & Pat Portolesi.

Each brought their unique personality, and sense of humour to the workplace.

Employees not pictured include Tim Zimmerman, Sherrin Worsfold, Chris Brewin, Paul Osborne, Tyler Summerton & current apprentice Tommy Atkins.

2️⃣5️⃣ years ago these spring chickens took a leap of faith and became the owners of Hygienic Meats. We are proud to have continued the quality service and produce that people had come to expect.
