Our region continues to produce exceptional wines, and it's wonderful to see local producers sharing what makes Riverland so special ☀

Most people think Barossa or McLaren Vale when they think South Australian wine. Fewer think Riverland, and that’s a shame, because there’s a lot happening out here.

Red sand, limestone, the Murray running close enough to shape everything we grow. Different kind of wine country, and we think it’s worth getting to know.

We’ve put together two packs to make that easy, a six and a twelve, covering everything from our whites through to the vine dried Shiraz we’re known for. Good way to taste the region properly.

Founded by Ashley and Holly Ratcliff, Ricca Terra Farms was built on a simple vision: to grow grape varieties perfectly suited to Australia's warm, dry climate. Since purchasing their first vineyard in Barmera in 2003, they've become pioneers of Mediterranean varieties, replacing traditional plantings with grapes such as Fiano, Vermentino, Nero d'Avola and Montepulciano.

Ashley's passion and innovation have earned him recognition as Gourmet Traveller Viticulturist of the Year, ABC Rural Horticulturist of the Year, Riverland Wine Industry Winemaker of the Year, and a place among Wine Business Monthly's Top 50 Stars of the Australian Wine Industry.
