With the addition of Ennia Cucina ( Italian Restaurant) you can not be blamed to feel as if you were in Italy🇮🇹 Charlie Scalzi's love of wine began with his grandfather Carmine who grew grapes and produced wine for his local community in Italy.Charlie had to wash his feet thoroughly so he could place them in the large wooden vats during crush. When he migrated to Adelaide wit

h his parents, his father Felice continued the tradition and made wine in his cellar. It's these traditions that make God's Hill special. Whether it's the old worker's shed nestled amongst the vines which magically appears as you drive down a dirt road, or the fact that wines taste so much better with estate grown olives and Italian bread handmade by Charlie's wife Ennia, , or Charlie's pursuit of natural and unadorned perfection in his wines, something touches you when you visit God's Hill. It's an unreplicated and superb experience.

Exploring the beautiful Swan Valley 🍇🍷

Today we had the pleasure of visiting some of the region’s iconic wine brands, including Nikola Estate, established in 1929 — a wonderful piece of Swan Valley wine history.

It’s always fascinating to meet people who carry on the traditions of the past while shaping the future of their wines and region.

Another memorable day discovering Western Australia’s wine country, enjoying great wines — including a Fiano that is very dear to Charlie, as its origins are from his home region in Italy — while learning the stories behind the wines and enjoying wonderful company. 🍇🍷❤️

We’ve been making the most of our time in Perth, discovering new wineries, meeting passionate people and, of course, enjoying some wonderful Italian food! 🍇🍷

One of the highlights was visiting some beautiful local wineries and experiencing the diversity of Western Australian wines.

And being Italian at heart, we couldn’t resist exploring some renowned Italian restaurants and pizzerias — including Amore Mia Pizzeria, where we enjoyed the true flavours and atmosphere of Italy. 🇮🇹❤️🍕

Good wine, authentic food, new discoveries and great company — that’s what makes travelling so special!

Today I had the pleasure of visiting Malmalling Vineyard and meeting the winemaker and owner, Kit Chambers.

It was a great opportunity to share our passion for wine, hear Kit’s story, and taste through a selection of their wines. There’s always something special about visiting a small vineyard and meeting the person behind the bottle — the passion, dedication and connection to the land really come through.
