Situated just outside the township of Lyndoch in the iconic Barossa Valley, our boutique winery is sure to remind you of the romantic characteristics the Barossa is renowned for. Hemera Estate is a 5* James Halliday-rated winery, we pride ourselves on consistently making award-winning and top-quality wines from premium fruit grown on the 110 acre Estate. A visit to our Cellar Door will allow you to experience our amazing red wines from classics such as Old Vine Grenache, Shiraz, to alternate varietals such as Tempranillo and Cabernet Franc. With 110 acres, 7 varieties, and many different wines there's a wine for every palate at Hemera. Our staff will gladly bring to you the best possible wine experience, with a casual tasting or a premium flight and also a platter over lunch, our staff will do nothing short of providing you with quality service.

Our Limited Release Cabernet Franc has arrived.

A wine worth waiting for, with aromas of perfumed violets, blueberry and a distinctive hint of choc mint, followed by savoury complexity and fine structure on the palate.

The 2022 vintage beautifully reflects the Cabernet Franc variety and our Southern Barossa vineyard.

This is a wine we don’t produce every year, making the arrival of a new vintage something special!

Exclusively sourced from our estate grown Block 3A vineyard, this limited release is a true reflection of a challenging vintage that produced exceptional fruit with remarkable depth and concentration.

Hemera Estate’s 2026 reds have been resting in barrel for a couple of months now, which means it’s time for a top up. As a small amount of wine naturally evaporates through the oak, each barrel is topped up to keep the wine protected while it continues to mature.
Our winemaker, Russell is also pulling samples to make sure the wine has gone through malolactic fermentation; an important step that helps create the smooth, rounded reds you’ll enjoy in the glass.
Drop into our Cellar Door to taste the wines ready to enjoy now while the 2026 vintage patiently develops in barrel. You can also give us a call or shop online and have your favourites delivered straight to your door.

It has been a short and sharp vintage at Hemera this year with the first grapes harvested for rosé on the 4th of March with the last grapes Cabernet Franc harvested just before midnight last night 27 March. It concludes a long day of 13 hours of harvesting. Overall we are extremely pleased at the quality of the fruit and the resultant wines that we have pressed to barrel with intense, deep colours, great flavour and intensity and structured fruit tannins. Well done to our small crew of Russell and Heath that got the job done! Now the focus is on getting the fermenters dry and wines pressed off to barrel. Look out for the 2026 wines in the coming years.
