So a certain someone has been hassling me to make a fruit loaf……
Well here it is Mel! And it was a whoopsie so don’t ask me to make it again! Haha
I shall call it “oh S #%T” what have I done wrong loaf!!
It was supposed to be coconut cinnamon scrolls but something went wrong with the dough! So me been me I can’t bear to waste food so I kneaded in some raisins and chopped some dates and prayed to the food gods 🙏
There’s some slices on my stand today and please feel free to try a piece! It’s Gluten Free & Dairy Free!
And maybe it can become a regular thing if I can mess up the scrolls recipe again 😂

Good morning 🌧️

Took me a little longer to get all the pre orders stock out this morning as I was waiting patiently for a break in the rain…… didn’t happen! 😂

But got there in the end! Todays menu 🍞

I’ve had a few people ask why my gluten free sourdough crumpets come in packs of 5…

Well, the simple answer is I can only cook 5 at a time! 😂

I make them in two trusty cast iron pans using stainless steel crumpet rings, and I refuse to cook them on anything else. The rings can be a bit sticky, which means I spend a fair bit of time coaxing the batter out, but I reckon that’s part of their charm. No perfectly uniform factory crumpets here. Every batch is handmade in my tiny kitchen.

And if I’m being honest, I kind of like odd numbers anyway. A pack of 5 just feels right! 🤷‍♀️

One day I might splash out on a bigger stove, but first I think I need a double oven. At the moment I can only bake 3 sourdough loaves at a time, so that’s probably the dream upgrade!

Until then, it’s just me, my cast iron pans, and a whole lot of patience. ( I just love making them
for you 💚)

The stall is all set up and stocked with lots of fresh, gut loving goodies! 💚

I spent yesterday recipe testing some cinnamon & coconut sourdough scrolls. Whilst they’re definitely not perfect yet and have a face only a mother could love, I’d love for you to give them a try! I’ve popped them out at the stall this morning and they’re free to take.

I’d recommend taking them home and warming them up in the oven or air fryer for the best texture.

So it’s back into the kitchen today for more tweaking! 🤞

We’ve got plenty of:
• Gluten free sourdough bread
• Sourdough crumpets
• GF sourdough brownies
• Wild fermented kimchi
• Sauerkraut
• Chilli crisp oil
• Red onion chutney

And Angelina made another batch of muffins this morning after selling out of all her pre-orders! She’s now firmly glued to her iPad thanks to her new-found income stream 😂

Tomorrow you are all in for a special treat! 🧁

My 8 year old daughter has been busy in the kitchen today and has made some Gluten Free banana choc chip muffins. ( not dairy free contains yogurt and dark chocolate chips)

These will be available in our roadside stall tomorrow morning for $2 each 😍

Angelina has been hassling me for Robux this weekend (iykyk 😂), and I told her if she wanted spending money she’d need to earn it. Next thing I know she’s come up with the idea of hijacking my stall and starting her own little muffin business 😂

As you can see from the photo, she’s even made her own sign and ingredient list. I think she’s taking her role very seriously!

We might also have another sweet treat surprise tomorrow. I’ve been recipe testing a new product today and the dough is currently fermenting 🤞🤞

I’ll keep you posted in the morning.

A little late to the party today! 😂
Road side stall is open until 5pm, only a small amount of stock out currently as I’ve been busy with pre orders 💚
But there’s a fresh new spicy batch of Chilli Crisp oil that I made last night and a couple of jars of Red Onion Chutney, lots of sauerkraut and kimchi.
And of course Gluten Free Sourdough bread and crumpets.
If you notice the bags are not sealed it’s because they are hot out the oven and if you can hold off slicing the bread in particular until it’s fully cooled down ( hard I know!!)
It’ll help stop any gumminess that can happen with gf sourdough. I’ll continue adding stock outside through the day!
Will have more stock and baked goodies out tomorrow morning from 10am and Monday.

Gluten free sourdough crumpets ( I’ve run out of buckwheat starter so these are fresh made today with sorghum starter so they have a slight pinky cream tinge! Can confirm they still taste amazing if you don’t mind the slight colour change from usual 😂)
