We’ve been having a little kōrero (chat) behind the scenes 👀

Remember when we asked who would be keen for Hāngis during the week as well as the weekend? Well, you fullas definitely gave us something to think about 🔥

Soooo… we’re thinking Thursday AND Friday night Hāngis for dinner 👀

And don’t worry, Saturday and Sunday aren’t going anywhere! They’ll still be our regular weekly cooks.

Before we get things rolling though, we wanna get a proper idea of how many hungry pukus are out there during the week 😂

Who’s ready for their Hāngi fix next weekend? 👀

We’re opening pre orders again for Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September and with the support we’ve been getting lately, make sure you get in quick so you don’t miss out!

⏰ Pickup 2pm to 3pm
💰 $30 per Hāngi

A proper feed packed with pork, chicken, potato, kūmara, pumpkin, cabbage, homemade stuffing and 3 fresh fry breads 🤤

📩 To order, flick us a message through the Hāngi Bros Mackay page with how many Hāngis you’re after and whether you’d like Saturday or Sunday.

Please make sure you message the page directly rather than ordering through the comments so we can keep track of everyone’s orders and payments properly.

Pre orders close Wednesday at 6pm, unless we sell out beforehand.

Well that’s us done whānau! 🔥

Everyone’s got their Hāngi’s and we’ve made it through weekend number two 😂

Just wanna say thank you to everyone who ordered, followed the page, shared our stuff, left us a review or even just dropped a comment.

It’s also been mean getting to meet yous all when you come through to pick up your kai and finally putting some faces to the names!

Me and my son are still figuring this whole thing out as we go, so to sell out for the second weekend in a row is pretty cool.

Plenty more learning to do, but we’re loving it.

And from me and my boy, Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there! Hope yous had a mean day with the whānau, full pukus and enjoyed your Hāngi ❤️

Now for the best part… cleaning this kitchen 😂

So we’ve officially sold out for the second weekend in a row 🔥

Got us thinking though… would you guys be keen if we started doing cooks during the week too?

I actually feel a bit stink seeing how many of you miss out once we sell out on the weekends, so thought we’d see what everyone reckons.

What would you prefer?

I still work Monday to Friday so weekday numbers would definitely be limited… but apparently me and my son have decided sleep is optional now 😂

Sunday 30/08 | 2pm to 3pm

We’ll send through payment details. Your order is only confirmed once payment has been made and a screenshot of payment is sent through 🤙

Orders are first paid, first secured.

Pickup address will be sent privately on Friday 28/08
