Hey all you meadsters out there. Welcome back. Well, what can I say. Pioneer Meadery has had the biggest day of its life. Being the only mead supplier for the Townsville Medieval Festival was a massive success for Pioneer Meadery. Due to the licensing of the venue we had to supply our mead in bulk for the first time. We sold out in 3-1/2hrs which equates to 170ltrs of traditional sweet mead, but I tell you what, we can’t thank Candice and her staff enough for the time and effort we all endured supplying our mead to the festival. A massive shout out to Pure & Natural honey from Mackay whom are our sole supplier of Pioneer Meadery honey. The world’s best honey. Another big shout out to my wife and best friend Jo, she was a right blessing through this whole gig today. Love you babe🥰. Don’t forget. Pioneer Meadery is a world class producer of mead. Hello all you Meadsters out there. Pioneer Meadery finally back again. Yes we are still up and running but some great news as things have been progressing in the background. As you can see Pioneer Meadery won Gold for our Christmas Pudding at the end of 2025, but wait🤩there’s more. While you weren’t watching pioneer Meadery decided that winning Gold in Australia wasn’t enough so we went all out and put our Gold winning out of the Australian comp to see how we would fair on the world international stage. Pioneer Meadery are so proud to say our Christmas Pudding won Silver on the world stage. This competition is ruthless as there are only 15 medals in total to fish out in the commercial space😂but we nailed it. In front of us was Poland that piped us at the post. Our score was 97 out of a hundred but that was just the beginning. Nonetheless, Pioneer Meadery did it. Hello all you meadsters out there. Pioneer Meadery has further great news whereby we have been accepted to be involved with the Townsville Medieval & Fantasy Festival. This festival is one of the largest of its kind in Australia. Hosting around 4500 to around 5000 people. Pioneer Meadery are so great full for this awesome opportunity to be held in August. Hello to all meadsters out there. Pioneer Meadery are very pleased to say that at the Australian commercial mead competition we won silver for our Traditional sweet mead and gold for our spicy Christmas pudding sweet mead. Good morning all you Meadsters from Pioneer Meadery. I have a post to share with you. I took a screenshot of the attached photo that I was so impressed with, from a gentleman by the name of Andrew Abel’s, one of many Pioneer Meadery followers. His comments were very inspiring and he dropped this picky in and blew us away. Not 1, not 2 but 3 bottles. This is what makes a business thrive. I thank you very much. Geeewizz, if it doesn’t rain it pours. Pioneer Meadery has just had some amazing news. Pioneer Meadery entered the very first commercial mead competition Australia wide against 13 of Australia’s best mead makers. Our yellow label mead got a silver medal. Our Strawberry mead got a bronze medal. The blue label got what we call in the mead world and “HC” highly commended along with another mead (not pictured) again “HC”. We are so overwhelmed with these results. A lot of hard work and patience. Pioneer Meadery is up there with the big boys and girls. Well, finally. It’s been a little while since Pioneer Meadery has posted anything new but, all is not lost and we have been working hard to get our mead out to our customers. Lo and behold our Christmas Pudding mead will be available on our website as of the 1st December. This mead is a Christmas Pudding in a drink. Hello again from Pioneer Meadery. During the month of August Pioneer Meadery had the opportunity to be part of a fishing extravaganza out of Onslow, Western Australia. Showcasing Pioneer Meadery raised quite a few eyebrows and a lot of discussion where this type of exposure, especially from a business that makes mead. From the boat (50/50)and its crew that took on this promotion was very well accepted buy many of the competitors. The team may not have won biggest fish but the Pioneer Meadery name is out there. Again, another exciting milestone for Pioneer Meadery. The very first bottle of Mead sold at Dan Murphy’s here in Mackay, North Queensland. What a buzz this moment had. Couldn’t wipe the smile off my face🤩. We sold all of the Pioneer Meadery mead that was on the shelf in 3 hours. Twelve bottles, wow. Pioneer Meadery is heading in the right direction.
