Meet Dwayne and Kelly Vagg; owners of Strand Gourmet Meats at Parkside Plaza Mackay. Strand Gourmet Meats has been a family owned butcher for over 10 years. We have always ensured that our meat is of highest quality grass fed and that our customers are treated to great service.
We stock products from all different producers both locally and across Australia, from our Lilydale free range chicken through to our grass fed Cape Grim beef, consistently maintaining our quality. Our entire ready to cook product range are hand made in-store from these quality free range/grass fed sourced meats.

Beef Cheeks in Red Wine cooked low and slow in a cast iron pan on the Kamado Joe, flavour was amazing and they were very tender
Always using and sourcing the best products I can find. These amazing ribs from tender valley pork, located in maranoa region Queensland were super meaty. Rubbed these with an all time favourite MAGICDUST which is full of flavour and seriously insane colour.

Thanks for the amazing Black Angus Tri Tip, we simply coated with a salt & pepper rub overnight. Then cooked in the Kamado Joe. Moist with awesome flavour
