Blue River Ice was born and bred in Mackay and proudly boasts the only Mackay based ice manufacturer and packaging plant, backed by a strong and reliable distribution network. Blue River Ice has been operating since November 2004 and is locally owned by Francis and Michael Vigliante. The team at Blue River Ice holds over 40 years combined experience in the packaged ice industry in and around the Mackay region.

Blue River Ice manufactures all of its ice at the custom designed Mackay Ice Works, located at 51 Enterprise St in Paget. The facilities are modern and innovative, providing a state of the art production facility, with the capacity to produce 35 tons/day and cold storage of up to 200 tons.

Blue River Water is bottled, purified, drinking water that has been put through 8 stages of filtration and purification that has a clean, crisp taste every time. Located in the Mackay, Whitsunday and the Isaac regions we locally produce and bottle our high quality product. The water produced undergoes strict testing and procedures within our HACCP plan guaranteeing a safe, quality consistent product. When purchasing Blue River Water you are making the environmentally friendly choice with a local bottling factory that has the latest innovative bottling equipment and regular product testing.
