Hello everyone,

As we know, starting tomorrow Thursday 1 October 2026, card surcharging will no longer be permitted in Australia, following the Reserve Bank of Australia’s (RBA) decision on card payment surcharges.

This does not mean our business doesn’t get charged for you tapping your card, our Square fees stay the same tomorrow as they are today.

It just means we are no longer be able to pass processing fees on to customers as a separate charge.

So if you can support our small business by using cash we would appreciate it, if our card transactions keep to the level they are today, we will need to increase our prices to cover the costs we will still be charged for offering Eftpos at our business.

We have always tried to keep our prices as cheap as we can but as a small business these costs are hard to absorb. We will give it 2 weeks and re-access the fees we are incurring.

Thankyou for your understanding….

As May draws to a close we have ticked over 10 years at … even though it feels like a lifetime ago our dream started from a shell of a van to now, it has gone by fast! We’ve been on the road, 7 days a week to serving our locals weekdays! So many friends have been made through it all and the memories that are linked to this little business blows my mind.. you have given us more than we ever could of imagined and it’s more than we every thought a cup of coffee could bring! So Thankyou to everyone that has ever supported us, you are like family to me and make me smile everyday! Who knew a little tin box on wheels could be such a vibe….
