Thank you so much Katrina Buckley for entrusting me with this cake for your special day. You’ve been one of my biggest supporters from the very beginning with unyielding (haha if unfounded) faith in my abilities.

Bottom tier is layers of lemon and vanilla sponge with white chocolate ganache, macadamia and raspberry coulis.

Top tier a mixture of dense chocolate mud cake with salted caramel and dark chocolate ganache, all wrapped in Swiss meringue buttercream and American buttercream palette knife flowers.

I’ve been quietly over here baking away, but thought I’d share a cake topper (not edible) I made for potentially the most lovely couple to exist.

Rhiannon and Michael, as you well know it was an honour to be such a part of your wedding weekend - we’re still flying high from the sheer amount of love you showered us all with.
Thank you once again for the joy you brough, not to mention your charming friends and family making everything that little more magical. I wish you all the happiness possible!

One of my favourite type of cakes for one of my favourite type of people, Sandra Ryan.

I’ve always referred to you as Mum 2.0 and will be forever grateful for the impact you’ve had in my life. The Ryan family influence is one of sheer creativity, critical thinking, generosity and acceptance that I’ve felt privileged to share in growing up. Thank you once again for being the fabulously tiny creature you are!

A cheesecake for the wonderful Bev’s 70th birthday surprise in the Hunter!

A lemon baked New York style cheesecake with a white chocolate and yuzu ganache. Not pictured was an “adults only” passion fruit sauce- filled to the brim with lychee vodka and distillery botanical roots and leaves gin 🍸

The theme here was “bright and colourful” and boy, was this cake bright. Hope you had a lovely weekend!
