Frances has decided to take part in the 2026 World’s Greatest Shave!!!
Although she won’t be going bald, she will be cutting her hair - which is currently half way down her back - to chin length.
Please feel free to help her in any way you can. Whether that’s sharing this post, donating or wishing her luck!

✨🐮 Happy World Milk Day 2026🐮✨

Here at Eachamvale it doesn’t matter the colour of the cow, as they all give the same white milk.

This week has certainly been a busy one! Not only are we now less than four weeks away from the Malanda Show, but we also have a paddock full of cows calving. Who’s bright idea was it to have them all calve at the same time, we’re still trying to figure that out... 👀🤦‍♀️

Three of Rachel’s Holsteins were among those to calve this week, and we're excited to report that all three of them had beautiful heifer calves!

On Saturday 23rd of May, Frances made her debut at the 2026 St Joseph’s Debutant Ball.
Thank you to Beau for being such a wonderful dance partner for her.
Frances’ special day would not have been complete without her favourite cow, Madge.
Please enjoy the beautiful photos taken by Anne Daley.
PS. Frances even got a special mention at the end of the night for knowing and singing every word during the “Pride of Erin” dance!! 🕺✨💕

We are so incredibly grateful to share that Patrick made it home last week. 💕

While this is a huge milestone for our family, we know his journey is far from over. He still has a long road of recovery ahead, with plenty of challenges to face, but we are taking each day as it comes.

Patrick will need to recover and heal before having more surgeries in Brisbane later down the track.

We cannot thank everyone enough for the love, prayers, and support that have carried us through these difficult past weeks. The kindness shown to our family has meant more than words can express.

Please continue to keep Patrick in your thoughts and prayers as he works hard on his recovery. We are so proud of his strength and determination to get through this

With heartfelt thanks,The English Family 💫

On Saturday the Malanda Show Society hosted the North Queensland Sub Chamber Showgirl and Rural Ambassador Finals. Catherine, as secretary of the North Queensland Sub Chamber, was the coordinator and organiser of this event. We are proud to say it was a wonderful night.

A massive thank you to Catherine for the effort you put into making the evening such a success. Your passion and attention to detail did not go unnoticed, and the event ran seamlessly because of you.

It was also Catherine’s birthday, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY CATHERINE!!! We hope enjoyed it and celebrated 🍾 🥳

Congratulations to all the entrants, you represented your show societies excellently. Goodluck to the winners as you move onto the State Finals later this year at the Brisbane Royal Exhibition. ✨🐮

Easter is always a time to celebrate with family and as we celebrate Easter 2026, we are eternally thankful for the love and support shown to our family since Patrick’s accident.

While Patrick continues to show steady improvement in Brisbane, we have left the farm in the capable care of his brother Jerry and sisters Rachel, Catherine, Hannah, Mary and Frances.

We will be forever grateful for all the people who have helped us in so many ways whether helping on the farm, dropping off a home cooked meal, taking the time to call or to keep Patrick in their prayers.

After 5 surgeries, the road ahead of him is still very long and will no doubt have a few potholes in it. No words can adequately express our gratitude for your ongoing support and prayers for Patrick.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Greg and Bronwyn.
Happy Easter Everyone
