Warral Maldon

On the move!

This week we join the single biggest movement of livestock in the southern hemisphere. All roads lead to almond orchards for Aussie bees.

Lindsay and our team of experienced beekeepers are packing up and shifting over 7000 hives. They'll go into 211 drop sites, strategically placed to meet client needs for a thorough pollination.

The prep work for all this began months ago, ensuring our bees are match fit, and the trucks are shipshape.

Here's to a successful season!

A real pleasure handing over the keys to BEELINER to Ben today 🐝🚛

Ben’s the lucky beekeeper who picked up this truck “free to a good beekeeper’s home” - exactly where it belongs.

There’s a cracking crop of up-and-coming young beekeepers and leaders coming through our industry, and Ben is in very good company.

The future of beekeeping is looking bright.

We were delighted to host the Pioneer team recently and give Brett, Declan and Amelia a closer look at the work that happens behind the scenes in Warral Maldon hive management and our SYZYGY queen-breeding program.

At Warral Maldon, we’re committed to maintaining strong, healthy colonies that deliver reliable pollination outcomes and it’s always rewarding to share our processes with partners who value the crucial role bees play in crop performance.

Our long-standing relationship with Pioneer Seeds has been built on trust, innovation and a shared commitment to supporting Australian growers. We’re proud to contribute to their canola hybrid program and grateful for the opportunity to work alongside a team so dedicated to excellence in production agriculture.

Here’s to many more seasons of collaboration, strong hives and successful crops.
