🍗 1. Chicken Katsu
Ingredients
500 g chicken breast
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs, beaten
1½ cups panko breadcrumbs
Oil, for frying
Procedure
Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
Coat with flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
Heat oil and fry until golden brown and fully cooked.
Drain on paper towels.
Slice and serve with katsu sauce.
🥩 2. Pork Katsu
Ingredients
500 g pork loin
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs, beaten
1½ cups panko breadcrumbs
Oil, for frying
Procedure
Season the pork with salt and pepper.
Coat with flour, egg, and panko breadcrumbs.
Fry in hot oil until crispy and cooked through.
Drain and slice.
Serve with shredded cabbage and katsu sauce.
🧀 3. Cheese Katsu
Ingredients
200 g mozzarella cheese
½ cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs, beaten
1½ cups panko breadcrumbs
A pinch of salt
Oil, for frying
Procedure
Cut the mozzarella into thick sticks or blocks.
Coat with flour, dip in eggs, and cover with panko breadcrumbs.
Repeat the egg and breadcrumb coating for a thicker crust.
Fry until golden brown.
Serve immediately while the cheese is melted.
🍛 4. Curry Katsu
Ingredients
500 g chicken breast
100 g Japanese curry roux
½ tsp salt
½ cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs, beaten
1½ cups panko breadcrumbs
Oil, for frying
Procedure
Season and bread the chicken with flour, egg, and panko.
Fry until crispy and fully cooked.
Prepare the Japanese curry according to package instructions.
Slice the chicken and pour curry sauce over the top.
Serve with steamed rice.
🍤 5. Prawn Katsu
Ingredients
10 large prawns
½ tsp salt
½ tsp white pepper
½ cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs, beaten
1½ cups panko breadcrumbs
Oil, for frying
Procedure
Clean and season the prawns.
Coat with flour, egg, and panko breadcrumbs.
Fry until golden and crispy.
Drain on paper towels.
Serve with mayonnaise or katsu sauce.
🥢 6. Tofu Katsu
Ingredients
300 g firm tofu
1 tbsp soy sauce
½ tsp salt
½ cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs, beaten
1½ cups panko breadcrumbs
Oil, for frying
Procedure
Press the tofu to remove excess moisture.
Season with soy sauce and salt.
Coat with flour, dip in eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
Fry until crispy and golden on both sides.
Serve hot with dipping sauce.
