We sell all of our award-winning dairy products here at the factory prices which is heaps cheaper than other shops, and remember to bring a cooler bag with you! Last Friday, Troy and Michael represented Maleny Dairies at the Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show alongside Roz White and the White’s IGA team, highlighting their Locavore initiative. What a day it was!

We were honoured to be part of their supplier space, pouring tastings and celebrating the incredible local producers and products that make this region so special.

Meet Dan Cork - Chapter 2 🐄

The Witta Cork farming story began back in 1912, and for Dan, dairy farming has always been part of the family bloodline.

While Dan’s parents encouraged him to explore life beyond the farm when he was younger, dairy farming was always where he found his heart to be.

After spending more than 20 years working in horticulture, Dan eventually found his way back home to the farm, something he’s incredibly grateful for today, and believes his years away gave him valuable experience and perspective, making his return to the farm even more meaningful.

Today, Dan hopes to continue building on the family legacy and one day hopes to pass the property on to the next generation to keep the story moving forward.

Last Friday evening, the Hopper family attended the Scripture Union Australia Chaplaincy Fundraising Dinner at Sandstone Point Hotel.

We're proud to have supported the event by donating a Maleny Dairies prize pack, including a MilkBar voucher, branded merchandise and goodies for attendees.

Scripture Union Australia plays an important role in supporting students, families and school communities through its chaplaincy programs. As a not-for-profit organisation, their work is made possible through the generosity of donors and supporters who help maintain vital services within schools.

I find the major brands sold by the chains are poor seconds that seem to be watered down... then? I tried your lactose-free milk. Wow! Brought back great memories from my childhood... real creamy milk that tastes so fresh!"

Cold foam is everywhere right now, but what about for those wanting all the creamy goodness, without the lactose?

We recently gave a lactose free version a try in the form of a Mont Blanc using Maleny Dairies Lactose Free Milk and Thickened Cream, finished with a sprinkle of fresh orange zest, and safe to say, we thought it was pretty delicious!

Maleny Dairies Lactose Free Cold Foam Recipe:

• 2 tbsp Maleny Dairies Lactose Free Milk
• 3 tbsp Maleny Dairies Lactose Free Cream
• 1 tbsp sweetener of choice (maple syrup, vanilla syrup, etc.)
• Small sprinkle of orange zest or topping of choice (if you want a little extra flavour of a Mont Blanc like ours)

Froth chilled ingredients until thick and silky, pour over your iced coffee or cold brew of choice, and enjoy! 🫶

Meet Dan Cork - Chapter 1 🐄

Meet Dan! A fifth-generation dairy farmer proudly continuing his family's legacy in Witta!

Together with his family at Wittacork Dairies, Dan farms across 500 acres in the heart of the Maleny region, with around 130 cows producing quality local milk for the community they love being part of.

For Dan, dairy farming has always been part of who he is. After spending time working in other industries, he’s grateful to have found his way back to the farm and the lifestyle he’s always loved.

From milk bottles to meaningful keepsakes. 💚

Stephanie, a former Maleny local now living in North Queensland, has found a beautiful way to upcycle our 2L milk bottles, transforming them into handcrafted journal covers through her project, “Dairy Dairies”.

Handmaking journals since 2010, Stephanie thoughtfully selects bottles featuring milestone dates that hold special meaning for friends and family, including birthdays and anniversaries. Inspired by her memories of living in Maleny between 1980 and 1994, she created this unique journal using a Maleny Dairies bottle cover paired with her signature hand-ripped pages inside.

We absolutely love seeing our bottles reimagined into something so personal, creative and full of connection. Thank you, Stephanie, for sharing your incredible craftsmanship and story with us.
