We are so chuffed to announce that we are the WA state finalist & one of the national finalists for the 2026 delicious. Harvey Norman Produce Awards for our Grassfed Jersey Beef, in the “From the Paddock” category. This is the second time now for us.
What makes these awards so special is that you have to be nominated, so forever grateful to Chef Melissa Palinkas for our nomination 🙌🏼
Lake Janis Grassfed Jersey Beef began as a crazy idea back in 2019, when we thought let’s try to raise a dairy breed of cattle for beef. Jerseys are renowned for their milk, but they also produce a beef that is exceptionally creamy, tender and full of flavour, thanks to their distinctive yellow fat and slower growth. It has taken us the past 7 years to get ourselves established in the Meat game, through a lot of perseverance.
Our farming system is built on regenerative practices designed to improve soil health, livestock vitality and the nutrient density & most importantly the flavour of our beef & produce.
We’d really like to thank our avid Jersey Beef end consumer, the Chefs, Butchers and stores that have continued to purchase our beef over the years. Without your support, we would not be here today.
