It was so fabulous for them to finally meet Butcher Camilo from Carnes Latinas Butchery, after our many phone calls. We are so honoured to supply butchers who really get what we do on our family farm & the attributes of our Grassfed Jersey Beef🙌🏼

🇮🇹 ITALIAN COOKUP ON FARM
Fun, delicious night of cooking & eating with our Italian backpackers at Lake Janis Farm. I had never made gnocchi from scratch so asked them to show me how to.

We used our organic Prince of Orange potatoes 🥔 for the gnocchi, look at that rich yellow colour. Handmade gnocchi I must say was so silky and melt in your mouth.

I cooked up an Italian Beef Ragu using our Jersey Beef Osso Bucco cut to accompany it. This is such an economical slow cook cut, with the added favour of the marrow.

Tiramisu made by our workers was a sweet note to end on, along with the talented, dulcet Daniel playing guitar & singing 🎶

We love these nights of blending cultures over good food, wine & laughs 🥂🍷🥩🍝🇮🇹
