Cherry Delivery Cancelled

Dear Valued Customer

We regret to inform you that we have had to make the difficult decision to cancel the cherry delivery scheduled for 30th December 2024.

As you are probably aware, cherries are in low supply this year due to a long hot summer last year and a warmer-than-usual winter, which has caused a lot of blossom to shed.

While it looked like we would have enough cherries to supply, once we started picking early this week, we had to leave many trees unpicked, as it was just not viable to harvest them.

I do appreciate your disappointment, as I know a lot of your orders go towards gifts, but it has been extremely tough to make this decision.

Unfortunately, Mother Nature is one element we can’t win against. 😞

We would very much appreciate your understanding, and look forward to a better harvest and hearing from you next cherry season.

Wishing you, your families and friends a Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year.

Sorry Everyone. Due to the overwhelming demand and the current supply of cherries we have now reached capacity orders and have had to close off the forms.

Please don't email or phone until we reassess the supply level again on approximately 27 December, and depending on the level of supply we will then repost for further orders.

2024 CHERRY ORDERS

Hi Everyone

It’s the post you have all been waiting for!

We would like to let you all know that this year's fruit set has been extremely low (for most of WA as well) mainly due to the long summer and the short mild winter, the trees needed more chill hours. So, regretfully, this order will probably reach capacity very quickly; therefore, we may have to close off the orders early.

At this stage, we are looking at approximately 90% yield down on last year. Unfortunately, we will never win the battle against nature.

We will reassess the supply level again on approximately 27 December, once we are fully into the orchard harvesting, and we pretty much know the quantity, we will then repost for further orders. We hope you can understand that this year's harvest will take longer and that’s why the volume is hard to predict.

Below are the details and links to the order forms. The delivery date to Perth will be Monday, 30 December 2024.

Please note all orders are CASH ONLY on collection.

North of The River Orders

Orders will be delivered to The Macedonian Culture Centre at 71 Grindleford Drive, Balcatta WA 6021, between 1.30pm and 3pm only on Monday, 30 December 2024.
