We still use oak. But we also wanted another way to build structure in our wines.

So we turned to something already in the vineyard - the rachis (stems).

With the right process, they become a natural tannin source. Prepared, refined, and reintroduced with purpose.

It’s been here all along. We’re just working with it differently.

Save this for later. Let us know your thoughts.

Next up - we’ll take you underground.

We’re extending our thoughts to you all this Easter Sunday.

We hope your day has been filled with time shared with friends and family - introducing new faces to our wine and swapping stories along the way.

And to everyone who came through yesterday… thank you. Truly. It blew us away.

Cellar door is open tomorrow… but keep it between us 😆

Vintage is in full swing. We’ve completely lost track of what day it is.

Damien’s deep in the tanks, digging out ferments.
Liam’s doing quality control… eating grapes.
Kylie’s somewhere running the whole show.
Hannah and Maria are doing their best to stay out of Carmen’s way.

It’s chaos. It’s full tilt. It’s exactly what this time of year looks like.

If you want to see how it all actually works - come and witness it over Easter.

2025 has been an instrumental year in our journey. A year of farewells, fresh beginnings, and so many new adventures. Our winery has been filled with countless conversations - familiar faces returning, new ones arriving, and stories shared along the way. Every one of them matters to us.

Our small but mighty team has worked tirelessly to uphold our ethos, each person playing a vital role behind the scenes and on the floor. We’re incredibly grateful for the care, energy, and heart they bring every day.

As we head into 2026, we’re on the move. The past four months have left us eager to do more, to grow, and to bring you along for what’s next.

Wishing you a safe and prosperous 2026. We’re closed tomorrow but reopen on the 2nd. Thank you for an unforgettable year - we can’t wait to see you soon.

After five long years beneath the surface, our Blanc de Noirs is ready to be shared.
Made in the traditional method, it has rested in stillness, held by cool stone and time, shaped without haste.

Seasons passed above ground. Winds moved through the vineyard.
Days lengthened, then fell away again.
The moon completed 62 quiet cycles while this wine continued its work, unseen.

Every decision, every pause, every year now lives in the glass - fine, composed, and patient.

Released for the festive season.
A wine shaped by time.

A little photo dump from the Tscharke team 🌿

Last Sunday afternoon, we gathered at our Gnadenfrei North Vineyard, beneath the trees, to farewell our beloved Conny. With a magician, plenty of our 2025 Rosé, and everyone bringing a plate to share - it was the perfect way to celebrate someone who’s been such a big part of our journey.

Good luck on your next adventure, Conny - we’ll miss you dearly 💛
