Last Friday we participated in the fifth coastal revegetation day, held by the
Margaret River Wine Association in collaboration with Nature Conservation Margaret River Region and the Shire of Augusta Margaret River.

The conditions were rugged as the team headed to the Rivermouth to remove invasive species and plant a selection of natives, protecting the dunes from erosion.

Our new release 2024 Reserve Chardonnay has taken home a Gold medal at this year's Decanter World Wine Awards.⁠

The Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA) is the world’s largest wine competition.⁠
This year, almost 17,000 wines from 58 countries were blind tasted by 245 leading wine experts. Every medal-winning wine passed through a rigorous multi-stage judging process, with top-scoring wines repeatedly re-tasted and debated by specialist panels before receiving recognition.⁠

Last night our 2023 Xanadu Cabernet Sauvignon was crowned Australia’s Best Wine at the National Wine Show of Australia.⁠
⁠
On its way to the top spot, the wine was awarded Red Wine of Show and the Cabernet Sauvignon Trophy — our 11th Cabernet Trophy in just 16 years.⁠

“I’m stoked, and at the same time astounded! To win an eleventh Cabernet trophy at the National Wine Show is quite hard to fathom. This achievement alone is incredibly rewarding given the pride we take in our Cabernets but also receiving the Prime Minister’s Trophy for Champion Wine of Show is the icing on the cake, especially given the importance of the National Wine Show.⁠

Presented by Winemaker Glenn Goodall, Viticulturist Alex Miller and Cellar Door Manager Sam Bradley, our Stevens Road and Reserve wines were savoured over a delicious four-course dinner at Bobèche, Perth.⁠
