The 2024 Xanadu Cabernet Sauvignon has taken home the Cabernet Sauvignon Trophy at the James Halliday Chardonnay & Cabernet Challenge 2026. Adding to the celebration, Xanadu Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon was awarded the W**e of Provenance Trophy for the exceptional 2014, 2019 and 2023 vintages.

Winner: IWSC Trophy

We're proud to share that our 2024 Reserve Chardonnay has been awarded an IWSC 2026 W**e Trophy, one of just 45 W**e Trophies awarded globally this year. The w**e was selected from the competition's Gold medal winners by the IWSC's expert judging committee, receiving a 96-point rating and placing it amongst the world's finest w**es.

Judges wrote: "Bright and refined aromas of sea spray and salted nuts lead into a mouth coating, subtly sweet palate where the flavour steadily builds with elegant precision. This well-integrated, w**emaking-led style culminates in a persistent, citrus-driven finish, truly expressive of its place."

Every vintage leaves behind a few good stories. The Ken Collins Award is reserved for the one that's hardest to live down.⁠

It began more than 20 years ago with a real vintage mistake, where equipment was accidentally damaged. Instead of being buried or handled quietly, it was turned into a trophy and a story that stuck.

This year's winner came courtesy of a sulphur miscalculation on a top Chardonnay parcel. Thankfully, the w**e came through beautifully, the lesson stuck, and another chapter was added to Xanadu folklore.⁠
