This long weekend, we're opening the cellar. Vintages from the Willespie archive - all pouring by the glass at the cellar door.
The lineup:
🍷 Wilyabrup Reserve 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon – Silver at the 2026 Margaret River Wine Show. Dry-grown, hand-picked, basket-pressed. A benchmark young Cabernet from our estate.
🍷 Old School 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon - Drinking beautifully now. Forest fruits and blackcurrant with cedar and tomato leaf. Soft tannins, long finish.
🍷 Willespie 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon - Structured and alive. Leather, mahogany, to***co leaf, boiled plum. A wine with stories.
🍷 Reserve 1996 Cabernet Sauvignon - Soft, round, and remarkably composed. Cedar, to***co leaf, cigar box. Thirty years in the making.
🍷 Willespie 2010 Shiraz - Firm tannins, stewed fruit, cardamom and clove. Classic Dawson Gully.
🍷 Willespie 1998 Shiraz - A curiosity from the archive. Worth the conversation.
🍷 Willespie 2006 Verdelho - Honey, green bean, a creamy lasting finish. Still fresh for its age.
🍷 Old School 2010 Semillon - Honeysuckle, crème brûlée, a crisp viscous palate. Classic aged Willespie Sem.
Wines like these don't come around often, and when they're gone, they're gone.
