Did you know the Wallaroo Heritage & Nautical Museum is a member of our family of outlets that stock MBC Foods’ delicious Salt & Pepper Coatings? 🧂🍤

Located in Wallaroo, the National Trust-run museum is housed in a charming 1865 limestone building. It offers extensive displays covering the copper smelting era (1861-1923), postal and telephone history, religious and civic affairs, industry, sport, entertainment, nautical history and local history.

Notable exhibits include “George the Giant Squid,” a 1910 Wallaroo Waterside Workers Federation banner and materials related to Miss Evelyn Marsden, the only surviving female passenger on the Titanic. The museum also boasts a railway memorabilia display and the former 1877 Tipara Reef Lighthouse. Visitors can explore a self-drive heritage trail, trace family ancestry and book ghost walks. Don’t miss the chance to visit next time you’re in the area!

🇨🇭 A taste of Switzerland with my beautiful family 🇨🇭

This meal was prepared by my most talented food connoisseur, my cousin Rolando. He absolutely spoilt us with traditional Swiss 🇨🇭 dishes, and this one was spettacolare! ❤️

Raclette — a giant wheel of cheese melted under a specialised raclette grill, then carefully scraped onto your plate and served with boiled potatoes, gherkins, pickled onions, dried meats, salt and freshly cracked black pepper.

Absolutely amazing!!! 🧀🥔😍

We enjoyed this beautiful meal while staying at my cousin Cristina and her family’s French chalet, close to Chamonix. The chalet was dwarfed by the spectacular French Alps, where we could gaze up at the enormous mountains surrounding us. 🏔️🇫🇷

It was such a beautiful experience — incredible food, breathtaking scenery and, most importantly, time spent with family. ❤️

Thank you to my beautiful and generous family for making our stay so special.

Right in the middle of Yorketown sits a shop that absolutely earns its name. They sell fresh bread, bun, cakes, pies and pasties all baked on site and receive a meat delivery once a week from Adelaide butcher, Marriott Meat. They're also a stockist of MBC products, Blatchys lollies, Aroma fresh coffee beans

Yorketown has had a bakery running since 1939, and the famous Yorketown pie recipe hasn't changed since 1971. That's exactly the kind of local know-how we're proud to sit alongside on the shelf.

Run entirely by the dedicated volunteers of the Price Progress Association, the 5570 Collective has transformed a once-unused shed into something really special: part museum, part community hub, part visitor information centre. Inside you'll find an extensive collection of photographs documenting Price's history, plus a showcase of work from regional artists and producers.

It's a genuine local-supports-local story, and we're proud to have our coatings on the shelves alongside so many other South Australian products.

Harvest Corner is a community-run co-operative and accredited visitor information centre rolled into one. Every shelf is filled with something made, grown or created by locals: handmade craft, artwork from Yorke Peninsula artists, and a beautiful range of regional produce. The volunteers behind the counter know this peninsula inside out — they'll point you towards the Minlaton Walking Trail, tell you where to find Captain Harry Butler's Red Devil, and send you off with a bag full of local goodness.
