We've been a bit quiet at the cottage due to our trade assistant breaking both his arms. 🤦‍♀️ But we've made some progress and finally have our windows back in, kitchen in and tops are oiled and waxed. Bathroom and sealing the floors are next. Then on to decorating.

Another big weekend. Floors sanded in the bathroom and kitchen, dining room and bed 2 has been started on. Some kitchen cupboards have been built and in placed. Fans and lights going in on Friday. Things are humming along nicely.

Our holidays may be over, but we came pretty close to ticking off the entire cottage to-do list 💪

✔️ Exterior painted
✔️ Interior painted
✔️ Window hoods reinstalled
✔️ Kitchen and bathroom walls installed and trimmed
✔️ Old cast-iron bathtub removed (now just need a few extra muscles to move it off the verandah!)

❌ Sanding floors — that’s officially my new weekend mission.

This little old girl is really starting to take shape and blossom ,🌸 and I can't wait to decorate inside.
