Heads up - road currently closed north of Katherine….😞

Update - 5:10pm: Both lanes of the Stuart Highway about 3km north of Katherine are now open.

Earlier: Road closed - Serious Crash - Katherine

Northern Territory emergency services are responding to a serious crash in the Katherine region.

Just before 6:00am NT Police received reports of a single-vehicle rollover on the Stuart Highway about 3km north of Katherine.

The Highway is closed in both directions and is expected to remain so for ,ost of the morning.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and obey all directions at the scene.

😭 Today is the last for Gab and Amelia (aka Alicia 🤣)…
These 2 have been our rock for the past 6 months - they have seen the hot, the floods and the start of winter….
Always showing up, willing to do anything they were asked and thrown in the deep end a lot - they accepted whatever we threw at them and they probably don’t realise how much their little supermarket family will miss them!
