“The 2025 re gen is enormously aromatic. It leads with gravelly, earthy, spicy notes that stray into baking spices, bramble and crushed rocks.
The black/purple fruit is the backdrop. The palate leads with its tannins; it feels in fact as if it is all about the tannins. For those who prize structure and texture, this will be an immense boon.
It tastes very much as if this is all about the land, the ground and the earth, which is fitting for this project.
In the end, around 50% whole bunches were
utilized, and this is certainly the basis for the structural attributes; the oak feels imperceptible.
I love this medium-bodied, tannic, spicy wine and its take on the silky, McLaren Vale Shiraz fruit”
