Putting the 2025 Naranjito together today!

It’s usually a mix of different picks from the same vineyard, each one treated a little differently. Most of the fruit comes from Melissa Brown’s Verdelho in McLaren Vale and we get Viognier from Paxton, and both vineyards are fully certified organic and biodynamic.

Some batches spend a few weeks on skins, others a few months, and some even longer. After that they rest in barrel for up to a year. Around now we bring everything together and build the final blend, which will be bottled early next year and then rest again before release for close to a year.

We have been tasting the 2024, which is just coming out, and it is really fun to compare it with the 2025. Two very different years, both equally epic.

Heroic, one could say? Yeeehaaaw Naranjito time 🍊💥
