Our tasting room is open 7 days (excluding Good Friday, Christmas Day and Boxing Day) from 11am – 5pm. Relax on the deck, immerse yourself in a personalised guided Tasting Experience and take in unparalleled views of our vineyards and beyond to the sea. With a large open lawn area to enjoy in spring and summer, and heating on the deck for autumn and winter, it’s always a perfect time to visit us.
Our Tasting Experiences are conducted seated at your own individual table. To ensure we can accommodate you and your companions, bookings are essential, and groups are capped at a maximum of six people. If you are looking to experience the beautiful natural bushland of McLaren Vale at your own relaxed pace, you can pick up a local produce picnic pack and bottle of wine at our Tasting Room to enjoy within the Gemtree Eco Trail, a haven for frogs, birds & animals with six interlinking dams and 50,000 native trees planted over 10 hectares.. Here you can explore the restored native landscape, relax in the wide-open spaces and use the BBQ facilities and playground. Winegrowers for more than 30 years, Gemtree Wines now own 332 acres of biodynamic and certified organic vineyards in McLaren Vale and have been awarded 5 stars Winery recognition by James Halliday since 2009.
