Pirate Life Brewing and St. Agnes Distillery have released their latest collaboration brew, a barrel-aged coconut porter.

Cementing a partnership that kicked off in 2022, the new brew sits at 10.5 per cent ABV, having spent six months ageing in St Agnes’ ex-Brandy casks.

Pirate Life’s Head Innovation Brewer, Dennis de Boer said “A coconut porter brewed with seven malt variants deserves some time on oak. Having worked closely with these barrels before, we knew it’d be a winning combination".

Richard Angove continued: “There’s always a real sense of anticipation when we send these historic barrels to the team at Pirate Life and wait to see where their creativity and skill take them. It’s a collaboration we really value, and one that continues to produce spectacular beers.”

The Pirate Life x St. Agnes Distillery barrel-aged coconut porter is now available from Pirate Life’s brewery and online store, along with selected retailers in SA and Victoria.
