The release of our own wines has been developed on the basis of a successful marriage between viticulture and winemaking and bearing the Statue of Abundance - this symbol epitomizes the values which we share with the fine qualities of wine and life itself. Nestled in the heart of McLaren Vale for 30 years we have devoted passion and tradition in our vineyards opting for an approach where quality
outweighs all other substitutes and continuing with this philosophy we will endeavour to share with you these fine qualities. With property holdings spanning 110 acres - not all the fruit from the family vineyards is processed for the Sabella Vineyards labels but having the luxury of picking and choosing small parcels which standout from the other sections of the vineyards has always been a bonus. Low yielding vineyards have always been a big factor in developing and maintaining quality fruit driven wines for this label - the other factors in winemaking are sometimes irrelevant unless the fruit is at perfection during harvest. Traditional wine making techniques and small batches has proven a successful combination where the separation of free-run from the pressings has resulted in different final wines. The blending bottling packaging of all the Sabella wines has been a family orientated activity since the inception of the label and we would like to share our ongoing commitment to the wine industry with all of you.
